The Argyle String Orchestra
An amateur community orchestra established in 1923, the Argyle String Orchestra is celebrated as Bath’s oldest orchestra. They perform a wide variety of music, ranging from classical and Viennese masterpieces (like Handel, Haydn, and Mozart) to 20th-century and contemporary works in their Spring, Summer and Autumn concerts each year.
In recent years they have also performed at Bath Abbey as part of the Ukrainian charity concerts presented by The Friends of Oleksandriya.

Bath All Comers Orchestra (BACO)
A Bath based orchestra which is open to all and provides an invaluable opportunity to gain or expand experience in orchestral playing in a relaxed environment.

The Orchestra of Everything
A friendly community orchestra based in Bath, playing an eclectic mix of pop, rock, funk, soul and classical – sometimes all at once with their unique mash-ups.

Trio Paradis
A classical piano trio based in Bath who perform Café Concerts at community venues across Somerset and Wiltshire: daytime concerts with a café where audience members can chat with friends and make new ones.

Bath Symphony Orchestra
Bath’s only large amateur symphony orchestra. They stages three main concerts a year perfomring a wide variety of classical and romantic music, ranging from Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Mahler to stage and film scores.

Trowbridge Symphony Orchestra
A well-established amateur orchestra based in Wiltshire. They perform three major classical concerts a year and run an active outreach program supporting young musicians.
